Afsaneh Hasami-Fard is a pioneering Iranian mountaineer who has made history by becoming the first Iranian woman to successfully summit all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks. Her remarkable achievement was solidified with her recent ascent of Cho Oyu in Tibet, marking her entry into the elite group of climbers known as the 8,000ers, following in the footsteps of fellow Iranian climber Azim Qaychisaz.
