Afsha Begum

Afsha Begum is the wife of Mohammed Ahmed, a man from Hyderabad who was allegedly duped by a job agent and forced to join the Russian army. She has been actively appealing to Indian government officials, including Union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, for assistance in securing her husband's safe return from Russia, where he is currently near the Ukrainian border amidst the ongoing conflict.
