Agnes Jun

Agnes Jun is an eleven-year-old creative talent who designed Auckland FC’s new mascot, a kōtare (kingfisher) named Tama. Her choice of a kingfisher symbolizes sharpness and speed, qualities she believes are ideal for the team. The name 'Tama' reflects both the male aspect of the mascot and a connection to the Māori heritage of Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.
