Ágúst Kvaran

Ágúst Kvaran is a prominent figure in the Icelandic long-distance running community, known for being one of the founding members of the Félag 100 kílómetra hlaupara, established in 2004. He completed his first 100-kilometer race in 1998 and has since contributed to the growth and popularity of ultra-distance running in Iceland. Under his influence, the club has seen a significant increase in membership, welcoming 64 new runners this week alone, reflecting a growing interest in endurance sports among younger generations.
