Agustín Wachapá

Agustín Wachapá is a prominent Shuar leader and former president of the Interprovincial Federation of Shuar Centers (Ficsh). Known for his critical stance against former President Rafael Correa, he represents the interests of the Shuar community in Ecuador and is currently being considered as a candidate for leadership within the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (Conaie).
