Agutu Boss

Agutu Boss is a former private security officer for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who gained attention after being shot in the leg during the Saba Saba protest in 2023. As a dedicated protector of his boss, Agutu was injured while navigating a chaotic situation in Nairobi's central business district. Following his injury, he has been among many victims awaiting compensation from the government for their suffering during protests. Despite the government's announcement of compensation plans in August 2025, a court ruling has stalled the process, leaving Agutu and others in a state of uncertainty as they seek justice and recognition for the sacrifices made during their fight for democracy and reforms.
