
Ahmad Ghahreman
Ahmad Ghahreman is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Cyclic Materials Inc., a Kingston-based company specializing in the recycling of rare-earth elements. With a PhD in materials engineering from the University of British Columbia, he has extensive experience in mining processing and metallurgy research. Ghahreman previously served as an associate professor at Queen’s University in Kingston and worked as a technical adviser for Li-Cycle Corp. He recently made headlines as Cyclic secured a US$25-million investment from the Canada Growth Fund to enhance its recycling operations and contribute to a more sustainable supply chain for critical minerals.
