Ahmad Kanjo

Ahmad Kanjo is a Syrian journalist who returned to Syria in late 2024 after nearly a decade away, during which he worked for various media organizations including Al Jazeera and Al Araby TV. Upon his return, he joined Al-Ikhbariya Syria, a state television channel, as the country transitioned away from the regime of Bashar al-Assad. Kanjo's work focuses on documenting the challenges and changes in post-war Syria, and he highlights the severe issues of corruption and inefficiency inherited from the previous government.
