Ahmadou Ould Khatri Cheikh is the governor of the municipality of El Mina in Mauritania. He was recently in the news for overseeing a cleanliness campaign organized by the municipality to clean various markets, including the wood market, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance public hygiene and ease traffic congestion in the capital, Nouakchott.
