Ahmed Al-Banna

Ahmed Al-Banna is a baker based in Deir al-Balah, Gaza, who recently began resuming production after aid trucks carrying flour from the UN World Food Programme entered the region. His bakery, along with others across southern Gaza, had been shut down for two months due to the severe blockade affecting the area, which has led to dire shortages of food and essential supplies. Al-Banna expressed hope that bakeries in northern Gaza would soon be able to restart operations as well.
