Ahmed Osman

Ahmed Osman is a prominent Egyptian sculptor and the founder of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Alexandria University, established in 1957, where he also served as its first dean. He has made significant contributions to the art scene in Egypt, including the establishment of a museum housing gifts from both Egyptian and foreign artists. His works include memorable sculptures and public monuments, such as the statue of poet Ahmad Shawqi and the restoration of the statue of Ramses II.
