Aija Mikele

Aija Mikele is a Latvian writer and journalist who creates poetry and prose, and is also known for her detective novels. She received the best work title in the humor category at the literary competition dedicated to Pēteris Jurciņš for her piece titled 'Pogosta lapnums,' which she sees as motivation to write more in the Latgalian language.
