Aiken Lau

Aiken Lau is a former banker from Hong Kong who now lives in Coquitlam, British Columbia. He has shared his emotional response to the recent catastrophic fire in Tai Po, reflecting on similar tragedies from his youth, particularly the Garley Building fire of 1996. Lau, who has lived outside of Hong Kong for over 20 years, continues to feel a strong connection to his hometown and is deeply affected by the suffering of those impacted by the blaze.
