Aina Margalef

Aina Margalef is a geologist affiliated with Andorra Recerca + Innovació (AR+I), where she has been involved in studying the potential risks associated with radon gas in Andorra. Recently, she highlighted the importance of a geological map that identifies areas potentially exposed to radon, particularly in the parishes of Escaldes-Engordany and Encamp, due to their granite presence. Margalef emphasized that while the geological map is a useful tool, further studies are necessary to establish a risk zonation for radon in the region.
