Aisha Wahdan

Aisha Wahdan is a mother from Gaza who has been struggling to provide adequate nutrition for her eight-month-old son, Hatem, amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis. She resorted to using wild plants in an attempt to wean him off breastfeeding due to her own malnutrition and the scarcity of available infant formula.
