Ajanta Rajakaruna

Ajanta Rajakaruna is a prominent medical officer and the assistant secretary of a government health officers' association in Sri Lanka. He recently played a key role in ending a protest at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, which was initiated in response to a case of sexual violence against a female doctor. Following discussions with local authorities, including the Northern Central Province Governor Vasantha Jinadasa, steps were taken to ensure the safety of medical staff at the hospital, allowing doctors to resume their duties.
