Ajay Tamta

Ajay Tamta is the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways in India. He has been instrumental in implementing policies aimed at improving vehicle safety standards across the country. Under his leadership, India was recognized with the prestigious Prince Michael Decade of Action Road Safety Award for significant advancements in vehicle safety, including the introduction of a new car safety assessment regime and mandatory anti-lock braking systems for two-wheelers.
