Ajaykumar tragically lost his life in the Air India Flight AI 171 crash, which resulted in the deaths of 241 passengers and crew members. He was seated in 11J, just beside his brother Viswashkumar, who survived the disaster. Originally from Diu, Ajaykumar had moved to the UK with his brother, where they ran a garment business together and managed a fishing venture in their hometown.
