Akila Nilanta

Akila Nilanta is a key figure in a recent scandal involving the Procare Private Company, where he serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department in connection with allegations of defrauding job seekers out of substantial sums of money, with claims that the company falsely promised to provide jobs to thousands of young people in Sri Lanka. Following these allegations, he was ordered to be remanded in custody by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court.
