Akio Hatano

Akio Hatano is a Japanese activist and bereaved parent who lost his daughter, Yoko, in a tragic traffic accident in March 2020 due to a driver running a red light. Following the incident, Hatano has been vocal about the inadequacies of current laws regarding dangerous driving and has actively participated in discussions aimed at reforming traffic laws to better address such offenses.
