
Akmadi Sarbasov
Akmadi Sarbasov, born in October 1977 in the West Kazakhstan region, is a former First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He held this position from June 2020 until April 2025, when he was relieved of his duties to pursue another role. Sarbasov has an extensive background in public service, having started his career in 1994 and worked in various capacities within the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Notably, he served as the Chairman of the Committee for Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, as well as the Chief State Labor Inspector from 2017 to 2019. He is a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Eurasian Humanitarian University.
