Akmal Malik
Akmal Malik is the Director General of Regional Autonomy at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Indonesia. He is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of regional autonomy policies, which include the review and approval of proposals for new autonomous regions. Recently, he was in the news for revealing that there are 341 proposals for the establishment of new autonomous regions, including six proposals for special regions, during a hearing with the Indonesian House of Representatives.
