
Al-Bourhane
General Abdel Fattah al-Bourhane is the commander of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and a key figure in Sudan's ongoing conflict. He has been in the news for his leadership role in the military junta that seized power in 2021, and for the tensions between his forces and rival paramilitary groups, particularly the Rapid Support Forces led by General Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, known as 'Hemetti.'
