Al Margolis

Al Margolis is an innovative figure in the experimental electronic music scene, best known for his work with the noise project If, Bwana, which he has been operating since 1984. He also runs two influential record labels, Sound of Pig and Pogus Productions, which focus on underground noise and contemporary experimental music. Margolis has collaborated with prominent artists such as Pauline Oliveros and Phill Niblock, and he is deeply committed to improvisation as a means of enhancing presence in the world.
