Al-Mokhtar Mbab

Al-Mokhtar Mbab is a Mauritanian diplomat currently serving as the Director of the United Nations and International Non-Governmental Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad. He was recently in the news for attending a meeting in New York where Mauritania's Foreign Minister, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, engaged with UN Special Envoy Miguel Angel Moratinos regarding strategies to combat Islamophobia.
