Alan Ecock

Alan Ecock is a former lending manager at AIB who gained attention after a tribunal upheld his dismissal for moonlighting as a barman at Kavanagh’s Pub in Dublin. After working at the pub since the 1980s while simultaneously employed at AIB, he faced termination following allegations of providing false information about his outside employment and accessing internal bank systems without authorization. Despite winning a prior case for unfair dismissal from the pub, his subsequent dismissal from AIB was found to be justified due to his lack of transparency regarding his dual employment.
