Alastair MacDonald Jackson is a passionate photographer and writer who has dedicated the last 18 months to exploring and capturing the beauty of the Scottish islands. Traveling to 42 remote locations, he camped out to document the stunning landscapes, wildlife, and local culture, inspired by his upbringing on the Isle of Skye. Jackson's photography aims to highlight 'island life,' showcasing the unique environments and communities he encounters, with a particular fondness for the Isle of Barra and Eigg. His adventures continue as he plans future trips, including to Orkney.
