Alba Camacho

Alba Camacho is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in metabolic and bone diseases at the ibs.GRANADA and the Endocrinology and Nutrition Service of the Hospital Universitario Clínico San Cecilio. She recently led a significant study published in 'The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism' which revealed that the accumulation of intermuscular fat in the thigh may be more closely related to an increased cardiometabolic risk than abdominal fat, challenging previous assumptions about fat distribution and its health implications.
