
Albrecht Dittrich
Albrecht Dittrich, better known as Jack Barsky, is a former KGB spy who infiltrated the United States from 1978 to 1988. Born in East Germany in 1949, he was trained as a spy and sent to the U.S. under a false identity, where he carried out various espionage missions. After the Cold War, he became a significant informant for American intelligence agencies, ultimately refusing to return to the USSR when his cover was compromised. Barsky gained U.S. citizenship in 2014 and authored an autobiography, 'Deep Undercover: My Secret Life and Tangled Allegiances as a KGB Spy in America', detailing his experiences.
