Aldemar Bustos Tafur

Aldemar Bustos Tafur was convicted for his role in the kidnapping of journalists, including the tragic abduction and subsequent death of Diana Turbay, the mother of Colombian senator Miguel Uribe Turbay. He claimed to have acted under the orders of Pablo Escobar, the notorious drug lord, and was initially sentenced to 30 years in prison, which was later reduced to 20 years.
