Aldo Monges

Aldo Monges was a renowned Argentine folk singer, celebrated for his romantic ballads that resonated with audiences in Argentina and Mexico during the 1970s. Known as 'El Trovador Romántico', he gained fame with hits like 'Olvídame muchacha' and 'Brindo por tu cumpleaños', and his music became a staple on television and in films. Born in Córdoba, he began singing at a young age and was mentored by the legendary Horacio Guarany, who encouraged him to compose his own songs. Monges passed away at the age of 83, following complications from a previous brain hemorrhage.
