Aleixo

Aleixo refers to a former housing project in Porto, Portugal, specifically the Bairro do Aleixo, which was demolished between 2011 and 2019. The area was home to several residential towers and has been the focus of a memorial project aimed at commemorating the memories of the former residents, initiated by the architectural studio Instituto and the APSPBA. This initiative reflects the community's desire to preserve the cultural and historical significance of the neighborhood.
