Alejandro Gambetta

Alejandro Gambetta is the head of the livestock breeding establishment Genética La Esperanza and a former president of the Uruguayan Sheep Breeders Association (SUL). He has recently been in the news due to the significant increase in fine wool prices in Uruguay, which rose between 20% to 35%, alongside historically high prices for sheep meat, fostering optimism among local sheep farmers.
