He is linked to the AK47 criminal gang, which operates in alliance with the notorious 'Los lobos' and 'El tren de Aragua'. Recently, he gained notoriety for making explosive phone calls from prison, in which he discussed the murder of journalist Jaime Vásquez and implicated various prominent political figures in the region.
