Alejo Lo Russo is an Argentine art specialist and educator, known for his expertise in Baroque and Renaissance art. He has collaborated with the National Museum of Fine Arts in Argentina and has authored numerous reports on various artworks. Recently, he gained international attention for his involvement in a significant forensic analysis of a painting stolen by the Nazis, which resurfaced in Mar del Plata. Alongside his colleague Ángel Miguel Navarro, Lo Russo conducted a thorough examination of the piece, 'Retrato de dama' by Giacomo Antonio Melchiorre Ceruti, providing key insights that contribute to its historical provenance and potential restitution to its rightful owners.
