Aleksandar Arabadzhiev

Aleksandar Arabadzhiev is a renowned ethnomusicologist and the founder of the 'Aleksandar' orchestra, dedicated to promoting Macedonian folk music in Austria and around the world. Living in Vienna since 2012 for his master's studies, he is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where he also teaches Macedonian tambura. His research focuses on the role of music and dance in preserving cultural and national identity among the Macedonian community in Vienna.
