Aleksandar Veliki
Aleksandar Veliki, also known as Alexander the Great, was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon and one of history's most successful military commanders. Born in 356 BC in Pella, he was the son of King Philip II and Queen Olympias. He succeeded to the throne at just 20 years old and embarked on an unprecedented campaign of conquests that extended his empire from Greece through Asia Minor, Egypt, Persia, and into parts of India. His military genius and innovative tactics led to significant victories, including the Battle of Gaugamela.
