Aleksandr Grigorevich Fedin

Aleksandr Grigorevich Fedin is a dedicated conservationist and environmentalist known for his extensive work in creating a 101-hectare forest near the Oqtepa reservoir in Surxondaryo, Uzbekistan. Over the years, he has been instrumental in fostering biodiversity in the region, supporting nearly 30 species of animals and over 500 types of trees, including those listed in the Red Book of endangered species. In 2023, he was awarded the 'Nature Protector' badge for his contributions to environmental conservation. Following a recent public concern regarding his well-being, he has been offered a position at the Forest Management Agency, and plans are underway to establish a dendrological park in the area where he has worked tirelessly.
