Aleksandr Yezhevskiy

Aleksandr Yezhevskiy, a 58-year-old resident of Mozyr, Belarus, has had a varied career, transitioning from being a private entrepreneur in the 1990s to holding positions such as chief of security at a municipal enterprise and director at small private companies. Since 2011, he worked as an educator at the Gomel State School of Olympic Reserve, which trains young athletes in various sports. Recently, he was sentenced by the Mogilev Regional Court for attempted treason against the state, facing a potential prison term of seven to fifteen years amid the backdrop of widespread political repression in Belarus following the disputed 2020 presidential elections.
