Aleksandra Fjodorovna
Aleksandra Fjodorovna was the last Empress of Russia, married to Tsar Nicholas II. A German-born princess, she was known for her deep devotion to her family and her reliance on the mystic Grigorij Raspućin, who she believed could heal her son Alexei's hemophilia. Her close relationship with Raspućin contributed to her unpopularity and the public perception of the royal family's detachment from the suffering of their subjects during World War I.
