Aleksandrs Brandavs is a businessman known for his past ownership of the passenger transport company 'Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme' (RMS). He was recently involved in a legal case concerning allegations of bribery, wherein he admitted to offering regular bribes to Nils Ušakovs, a former mayor of Rīga and current Member of the European Parliament, in exchange for favorable regulatory changes that would benefit his business.
