Aleksey Avdey

Aleksey Avdey, known by his call sign 'Ryzhiy', was a Belarusian volunteer soldier who fought valiantly in various battles during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. He was characterized by his exuberant personality, unwavering dedication, and radical sincerity. Described as a hero by his comrades, he embodied the spirit of Belarusian resilience and camaraderie. Avdey was noted for his bravery, having received a commendation for courage while serving in the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. Tragically, he lost his life during an assault, fulfilling his desire to fight for his beliefs.
