Alenka Kham Pičman (1932–2025) was a prominent Slovenian painter and architect, known for her distinct figurative compositions and cityscapes that captured the essence of urban architecture. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, she studied under notable figures such as Jože Plečnik. Throughout her career, Pičman made significant contributions to various fields of architecture and design, teaching at the University of Ljubljana and creating textile designs for numerous Slovenian factories. Her artistic work, influenced by her personal experiences and memories, included notable series in screen printing and graphic artworks depicting cultural events. Pičman's extensive exhibition history includes over fifty solo shows and participation in more than a hundred group exhibitions across Europe, Japan, the USA, and Canada.
