Alessandra Durand

Alessandra Durand is the founder of Kené Kaya, a fashion brand and social enterprise dedicated to promoting the traditional art and culture of the Shipibo-Konibo community in Peru. Since 2020, she has been working to empower local artisans, creating ethical and collaborative partnerships that elevate indigenous craftsmanship. Her efforts have been instrumental in bringing the unique kené art form to international audiences, exemplified by her recent collaboration with the renowned Peruvian band Los Mirlos for their performance at Coachella 2025.
