Alesya Rak

Alesya Rak is a Belarusian woman who gained attention for her resilience while her husband, journalist Andrey Kuznechik, was imprisoned for over three years due to political repression in Belarus. Throughout this challenging period, Alesya took on the responsibilities of raising their two children, Matvey and Yanina, while also advocating for her husband's release. Despite the emotional toll and uncertainty, she maintained her family's daily routines and sought ways to keep her husband's spirit alive through letters and shared readings.
