
Alex Kicillof
Alex Kicillof is an Argentine economist and politician who served as the Minister of Economy of Argentina from 2013 to 2015 under President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. He is known for his role in the controversial expropriation of the oil company YPF in 2012. Kicillof is currently the governor of the Buenos Aires Province, having been elected in 2019. He has been in the news recently due to a U.S. court ruling ordering Argentina to deliver 51% of YPF's shares as part of a $16 billion compensation for the expropriation.
