Alex Nitzul was a Holocaust survivor who emigrated to Australia from Ukraine after enduring the hardships of World War II as a child in Siberia. He was known for his dedication to family, having raised two children and 11 grandchildren. Tragically, Nitzul was killed while trying to protect his wife during a recent terror attack at a Hanukkah celebration in Bondi Beach, Sydney.
