Alexa Leary is a Gold Coast triathlete whose life changed dramatically after a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) sustained during a training accident in July 2021. Following her injury, she underwent extensive rehabilitation, relearning basic skills and coping with significant personality changes. Remarkably, she went on to compete in the 2024 Paris Paralympics, winning two gold medals and a silver, showcasing her resilience and determination.
