Alexander Bobryshev
Alexander Bobryshev, born on January 8, 1949, in Novokuznetsk, has had a long and distinguished career in the aviation industry. Beginning as a mechanic at the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant in 1969, he rose through the ranks to become the general director of the enterprise from 1997 to 2006. Bobryshev later served as president and then general director of Tupolev from 2009 to 2014 and held prominent positions in various aviation organizations, including the Interstate Aviation Committee. He has been instrumental in the development and supply of military aircraft under state defense orders and has recently stepped down from his role in the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) after fulfilling his responsibilities, paving the way for new leadership.
