Alexander Kirsanov

Alexander Kirsanov was a Russian figure skater who competed internationally for Russia, the USA, and Azerbaijan before retiring in 2004. After his competitive career, he transitioned into coaching and was based in Delaware. Tragically, he lost his life in an aircraft collision over Washington, D.C. on January 29, 2023, which also claimed the lives of several others in the figure skating community.
